- We take care of your dataIn the course of our work, we collect and process a wide range of personal data. We collect information from members, counterparties, party representatives, other parties, public authorities and companies, among others. We process personal data in order to fulfil our obligations as a tenants' association in accordance with laws and regulations, including the Data Protection Act, and the legal basis for our processing of personal data also follows from the assignment we have been given or the agreement we have entered into with you for the provision of advice.
The treatment can also be justified by.
- it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation,
- the processing is necessary to fulfil essential interests that override the interests of the data subject; or
- the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims
In exceptional cases, our processing may also be based on consent, please refer to Article 6(1)(a-c) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation and Article 9(2)(a, b and f) and Chapter 3 of the Danish Data Protection Act.
4. Categories of personal data.
We process general personal data. We only register CPR numbers to the extent that it is relevant and necessary or the information is included in the information we receive from you or third parties.
5. Recipients or categories of recipients.
We have a duty of confidentiality and may not unauthorisedly disclose information that we have become aware of during our work. As part of the case processing, we may disclose or transfer your personal data to the following recipients: Other parties to the case, advisors to the parties, expert witnesses, etc. and public authorities to the extent justified by the case processing.
6. Where does the registered personal data come from?
We register personal data that we have received from the parties to the case, their advisors, other actors in the case, or that we have obtained from public authorities, databases and registers, e.g. the State Administration, the land registration system, the CVR register and OIS.
7. Storage of your personal data.
We retain personal data for as long as there is a legitimate purpose. After a case is closed, we store the registered personal data for 1 year, this also applies at the end of membership, after which the data is permanently deleted. However, information obtained for the fulfilment of relocation cases will be deleted after 6 months.
8. Safety.
We have taken a number of organisational and physical measures to safeguard the personal data we process. This means that we have internal instructions on data processing, digital protection in the form of e.g. virus programmes and firewalls as well as procedures for monitoring the protection of personal data.This also means that we have limited who has access to your data.We have entered into data processing agreements with the companies that process data for us, so we have ensured that they also take good care of the personal data we entrust to them.If a security breach occurs that involves a high risk of violation of your rights, you will be informed by us.
- The right to withdraw consent.
If our processing of personal data is exceptionally based on consent, this consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.
If you choose to withdraw your consent, it will not affect the lawfulness of our processing of your personal data on the basis of your previously given consent and up to the time of withdrawal; therefore, if you withdraw your consent, it will only take effect from that time.

Right to see information (right of access):
You have the right to access the data we process about you as well as a number of additional information.
Right to rectification (correction):
You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected.
Right to erasure:
In special cases, you have the right to have data about you deleted prior to the time of our general general deletion.
Right to restriction of processing:
You have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted in certain cases. If you have the right to have the processing restricted, we may in future only process the data - except for 'storage' - with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interests.

In certain cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data. You can also object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.

You have the right to access the data we process about you as well as a number of additional information.
